These are small, elegant toy dogs. Their butterfly ears that carried erect or drooping make them stand out. Once called the Squirrel Spaniel, they have a long, plumed tail that is curled and carried up over the back. These dogs have a long, fine, silky coat that is primarily white with patches of any other color around both eyes and ears. The papillon dog training should start when they are young dogs.
